# What is LIVV

> Internal platform credit, the fixed rate, escrow funding, and fees

LIVV is internal platform credit. It is not crypto, not a token, and not tradable. You use it to fund campaign escrow, and streamers receive it as payout. Every balance change is recorded in the database ledger.

You see whole LIVV units in the UI. IDR moves on the PeridotID wire. The rate is fixed:

## Fund escrow

Escrow funding is not a top-up. You transfer LIVV directly to `live2dev@pid`, which carries no app fee. When the deal completes, the release to the streamer applies the dynamic success fee.

Funding verification accepts a credit that is at least 1% below the gross amount. Any amount above gross is rejected.

## Fees

Fees follow dynamic PeridotID policy, not a fixed rate. You see the exact fee in the claim quote before you confirm. Verified apps skip the global fee.
